Dr. Bin Li is a staff scientist in the Energy & Environmental Directorate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, USA. He received his PhD degree in materials science and engineering from Tsinghua Universtiy in China in 2010. He has a strong back ground on materials chemistry. His research experience includes electrochemical energy conversion and storage technologies, synthesis of nanomaterials and growth of epitaxial films, primarily in the field of redox flow battery, lithium ion battery and fuel cells. He has now pioneered the development of several novel aqueous and non-aqueous redox flow battery technologies, for which he got outstanding performance award from PNNL. In addition, Dr. Li holds several US patents and authored and co-authored more than 30 journal publications.
