Energy storage comes in all shapes and sizes, and numerous technologies are continuing to advance and have a major impact on how we generate, distribute and consume electricity.  This session will feature advanced research and development of technologies beyond electrochemical storage – whether that is storing energy in molten glass or using thermal storage to improve turbine performance or the next generation of flow battery, there are so many viable and effective technologies on the horizon.  Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of how these technologies and applications are advancing and be able to see the path forward for commercial deployment of these advanced solutions.
