EESAT Session: Energy Storage System Components Research & Development

Room: Grand Ballroom I
Date: Thursday, September 24, 2015
Time: 1:15PM - 3:00PM PDT

Anywhere from 40-60% of the cost of an energy storage systems is outside of the cells or mechanical structures that drive the systems, and researchers and labs around the world are working on creating new efficiencies, cost savings and new performance milestones.  This session will highlight many of the advanced research projects that are exploring advances in transistors, electrodes, link converters and switching devices and all the pieces that make up complete storage systems.  Attendees will hear from those leading the charge for more efficient, and economical, energy storage solutions.
